The Dyngus Day Committee of AMLDC is proud to announce our plans for Dyngus Day 2024. It’s all about a Homecoming , as we open our doors to Welcome Back our Members, Guests and Friends to Buffalo’s Historic Polonia District to join us at our yearly Springtime Celebration for All Ages at Buffalo’s Oldest Polish Cultural Organization. Founded in 1895, we have been a pillar of Polish literature, theater, live music, language, and camaraderie among friends. This year, Dyngus Day is Monday, April 1, 2024. This is NOT an April Fools Joke but we hope for great weather to enjoy your company at our biggest fundraiser of the year.
Our Gates will open at Noon.
For the first time ever, we are welcoming to our Dyngus Day Festival, Captain Tom & the Hooligans. They will be taking the stage from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM in the back hall. A local band gaining huge fame for putting their own twist on cover songs & especially known for contributions to Polka Parties with Eastern European Polka styles. A must see band.
We welcome back, solo Accordionist player, Hank Kozlowski. His music is timeless and enjoyed by all ages. Be prepared to Polka in the back hall from 3PM - 5PM
Headlining our Dyngus Day Festival ,we are thrilled to Welcome Back, Those Idiots Polka Band who got their start performing at Dyngus Day right here at Mickie’s. Their popular upbeat polka songs to modern day music make everyone want to “ Rock & Roll and Polka All Day.” They will be taking the stage in the back hall at 6PM. This is going to be a performance not to miss ! Wear your best red and white to be crowned Polonia’s Dyngus Homecoming King and Queen !
New this year, there will be a Kids Corner sponsored by Johnny Ryan's Soda. We will have a heated tent to enjoy the music outside.
Try our Polish Energy Drink at the Outdoor Bar, an all natural Polish Juice Drink from Bacik to quickly recharge yourself.
Wristbands will be available for purchase at our bar beginning Friday, March 1st and every Friday til Good Friday. You can also purchase your early bird admission priced at $10 online at www.givebutter.com/dyngushomecoming and pick up in person on Thursday, March 28th from 6PM- 9PM and on Friday, March 29th from Noon - 6PM. No refunds will be issued. Tickets will be $15 at the door.
